How Oribe Started; The Brand Story
World-renowned celebrity stylist, Oribe Canales, originally from Cuba, was at a New York Chanel show in 1992. There, he was showcasing his deliberately disheveled hairstyles that were receiving a great deal of attention.  Soon thereafter, Oribe teamed up with veterans of the beauty industry; Daniel Kaner and Tev Finger.

Oribe has been around for what many have considered as some of the most important milestones, as he was one of the first American stylists to style the European collections, to the invention of the supermodel. This is when Oribe partnered with iconic photographer, Steven Meisel in the late 1980s. You may recognize supermodel names such as; Linda, Christy, and Naomi. A vast amount of Oribe’s work has appeared on covers of magazines, and graced runways all over the world. He also worked with Jennifer Lopez at the heights of her millennial celebrity, experiencing significant attention namely for the cover of her first album, and then for her sexy 60s fashion hair at the 2002 Academy Awards.

For well over 15 years, Oribe has persistently set new standards with his red carpet work on many A-list celebrities, appearing on many runways, countless covers of Vogue, and many ad campaigns, such as; Louis Vuitton and Dolce and Gabbana. Currently, he has a salon located in Miami, catering to several up and coming stars of tomorrow. Oribe continues to invent and reinvent, building his influence in the hair and fashion industry, as he truly is passionate about his craftsmanship.

The dry shampoo is sprayed in the scalp area to absorb oil and impurities, and brushed through, giving your hair softness and strength. This product is great for using after the gym, extending your blowout, and giving your hair a little extra volume or texture for those special occasion hairstyles. Repair and restore shampoo and conditioner rejuvenates the hair and scalp to give your hair more strength. Fragrance
In addition to Oribe’s many hair care products, they also have beauty products including some makeup and a perfume/cologne. The cologne/perfume is Oribe’s signature scent, Cote d'Azur, which was developed in an old French fragrance house. Its roots trace all the way back to the 1800s. The fragrance is bright, yet calming, perfect for anytime of the day.
